$xBTC

xBTC is a Bitcoin Layer derivative supported by the BPEG'd protocol and powered by Stacks and its unique method of 'Stacking' in the Clarity coding language. It can be minted when a user borrows against their NFT and burned when they decide to repay their loan. Its valuation is dynamically pegged to holdings of native BTC by the BPEG'd DAO and it is naturally over-collateralized to ensure its price parity is continual.

Interest rates for xBTC are viewable via the BPEG'd dashboard and are dynamically adjusted to maintain balances in each Locker Tier.
